On the Other Side of the Lens

I read a blog post recently saying that those of us who tend to be the main photographer in the family should make sure we get on the other side of it every now and then, as we record our family history.  So I greatly enjoyed seeing a visit from some dear university friends recorded through LissaLou’s eyes.  This is very much the edited version, there were quite a lot of her face CLOSE UP and even her tongue!!

It was a freezing afternoon but with the help of many mugs of tea (and great conversation!) we managed to stick it out in the garden and the kids had a great time climbing trees and generally amusing themselves very happily.  Thanks to the photographer for her efforts!  Oh, and here is our forsythia in wonderful bloom – I can’t believe it’s the same plant Mum and I massacred a couple of years back!
